The Project Exploration Supervisor will oversee and coordinate all exploration activities in assigned project area. This includes planning, scheduling and leading on-site operations such as drilling, sampling, logging, and all field data collection. Ensures compliance with safety and environmental standards, manage contractors and field crews and provide accurate and timely exploration report to the management

Project Planning and Coordination
Develop and execute exploration work plans and budgets in collaboration with exploration manager Coordinate with geologist, drill crews, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project workflow Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget Develop, implement, and maintain logistics strategies to support multiple exploration projects Forecast material, equipment and resource needs based o project schedules and exploration plans Coordinate with procurement and vendors to ensure on time delivery of supplies and equipment Prepare and manage logistics budgets in collaboration with exploration manager Track expenses of transport, warehousing, and material, identify cost saving opportunities
Field Operation and Supervision
Supervise daily activities of field teams, including drilling, sampling, mapping, and data collection Ensure the accuracy and consistency geophysical logging and core sampling procedures Provide on site problem solving to make operation keep running smoothly
Data Management and Reporting
Oversee proper collection, storage, and management of geological data, sample, and core log Prepare and review of daily, weekly, and monthly reports on exploration activities Coordinate with laboratory services for sample analysis and interpret result for management recommendation
Stakeholder and Contractor Management
Manage relationship with contractors, ensuring quality control, timely delivery services according to contractual terms Support cross functional team (permitting, procurement, etc) to make project running smoothly
HSE Compliance
Enforce company HSE policies SOP and procedure among all team members and contractors Identify potential hazards, conduct regular safety meeting, and implement corrective actions when necessary Monitor environmental impact according the regulations
Continuous Improvement and Development
Train and mentor junior geologist and field technician Identify area for improvement such as methodologies and technologies

Related Experience:

Bachelor degree in geology, mining, or related field Strong knowledge of drilling activities and sampling procedure Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse team and contractors Familiarity with industry software (Minescape, Qgis, etc) Demonstrated leadership, communication and organizational skill
